My Story

Darlene Thompson is a woman after God's own heart. She possesses great strength, courage, integrity, and confidence in her ability to fulfill the predestined purpose for her life. Darlene is an ordained minister, motivational speaker, author, real estate agent, notary, Certified Christian Counselor, and praise dance coordinator.

Darlene began preaching at age seventeen and was ordained in 2002. Over the years she has worked in various ministries in the church and community; such as the food pantry, children and youth ministry, street ministry, evangelism, intercessory prayer, marriage and family counseling. In 1999, she started Heaven Sent Praise Dance Ministries which travels around the state of Texas dancing and giving praise unto our Lord.

God decided that it was time to bring elevation and promotion so now she has become Senior Pastor of By F.A.I.T.H. Ministries established January of 2011. On October 10, 2015, She was elevated once again to an Apostle. She also serves as the Volunteer Supervisor for KSBJ Radio station prayer station at the Harris County Jails and is a Certified International Christian Counselor.

Darlene was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She is married to Corey Thompson Sr., mother of 7 children, of whom she gave birth to three, and a grandmother of eight.
